OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City West improved to 5-2 with a sweep of Harding Charter Prep Thursday (Aug. 27).
The Patriots won with scores of 25-14, 25-22 and 25-18.
West volleyball coach Tyler Thompson called the win probably the Patriots’ “best overall played game” of the season.
“We found ourselves in a little hole in the second set and the girls stuck with game plan and were able to dig out of it,” Thompson said via text. “Our service pressure is becoming borderline elite.”
Junior Kami Liles had double-digit aces. Sophomore Mia Lino and senior Zoe Salas both came close to the double-digit threshold for aces.
