BETHANY — Bethany honored its senior volleyball players Monday (Sept. 28) after the Bronchos earned a 3-0 win over 6A Putnam City.
The 4A Broncho seniors compiled a 112-28 record over their tenure at Bethany. The Bronchos were 4A runner-ups in 2023, state champions in 2024 and reached the state semifinals in 2025.
Gracee Geissler compiled 102, 1,109 serves, 124 aces, 1,291 digs (which is a new school record).
Emma Sailer notched 238 kills, seven aces, 29 digs, 119 solo blocks and 74 block assists.
Both Sailer and Geissler were a part of the state title team.
Keyaira Ohern came to Bethany as a junior from 5A Mount Saint Mary, where she was on the Rockets’ 2024 state champion team. She had 226 kills, 563 serves, 54 aces, 71 digs, 76 solo blocks and 30 block assists.
Kennedy Palmer was a newcomer this year as a senior. She had 149 serves, six aces and 120 digs.
Samantha Stearman added two digs and three kills.

The 4A 10th-ranked Bronchos (16-11) host 4A No. 12 North Rock Creek (17-11) Tuesday (Sept. 29) at 6 p.m.
The Cougars lost to 3A’s top-ranked team, Cascia Hall, 3-0 on Sept. 17.
The Pirates (4-15) host 4A Harding Charter Prep (8-12) Tuesday at 6 p.m.
The Eagles beat 4A Santa Fe South Pathways 3-1 last Thursday.
