OKLAHOMA CITY — Lawton racked up nine hits in a 7-1 win over Putnam City West Thursday (Aug. 20).
The Wolverines scored three runs in the sixth inning to pull away for their first win. The Patriots also had a pair of errors.
West’s lone run came in the sixth inning. Kaydence Lopez led off with a double and scored on a groundout by Aalyiah Lewis.
Lopez finished with a 3-for-3 day at the plate.
