OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City North picked up its first volleyball win this season with a 3-1 win over Santa Fe South Tuesday (Aug. 18).
Panther coach Taylor Fleenor sees the win as the first step.
“Our middles are holding it down for us and continuing to be aggressive. Our liberos are starting to get more comfortable with taking control from the back row and serve receive has improved dramatically. We’ve finally figured out our rotation,” Fleenor said via text. “Now, it’s time to start building chemistry and terminating. We’ve got to minimize the errors if we want to continue to be successful.”

North will compete in the Carl Albert Invitational Friday and Saturday (Aug. 21-22).
