
BARTLESVILLE —Putnam City North sophomore Keaton Murry scored 22 points in the Panthers’ 74-40 win over Bartlesville Friday (Feb. 6) in a 6A-3 contest.
Murry hit three 3-pointers in the first quarter and another in the third quarter in the rout. He also had a rebound and two blocked shots.
Fellow sophomore Devion Gillispie also scored in double figures with 13 points. Gillispie also grabbed five rebounds and five steals.
With Murry’s first quarter barrage of treys, North built an 18-point lead at the end of the first quarter and it continued to widen.
Sophomore CJ Heskett scored nine points with two treys in the first half. Heskett also had three rebounds. Junior Mekhi Thomas added seven points in the game, with a first quarter 3-pointer.
Junior Miles Jackson scored six of eight points in the fourth quarter. Jackson added four rebounds, three assists and two blocks.
Senior Malakye Schoats finished with six points, six rebounds and five assists.

North (20-1, 12-0) travels to Jenks (11-10, 7-4) Tuesday (Feb. 10) at 7:30 p.m. for another 6A-3 matchup.
The Trojans lost to Edmond Santa Fe, 79-51, Friday.
