MUSTANG — Mustang took advantage of Putnam City West turnovers Tuesday (Dec. 16) for a 94-25 rout in a 6A-1 contest.

The Patriots had 35 turnovers in the loss and Mustang scored 23 points off those turnovers.

The Broncos built a 44-18 lead at halftime but West was 8-of-16 from the field in the first half. The Patriots made just two more buckets, finishing 10-for-35.

Sophomore Victoria Martinez led West with seven points and six rebounds. Fellow sophomore Alazia Gutierrez and Caitlyn Alexander each score four points.

UP NEXT

West hosts Choctaw (5-3, 3-0) Friday (Dec. 19) at 6 p.m. in another 6A-1 contest.

The Yellowjackets beat Norman North, 62-32, Tesday.
