CHICKASHA — Western Heights rebounded from a loss in the tournament opener for a 77-56 win over Altus Friday (Dec. 12) at the Arvest Bank Classic.

Seniors Nick Henderson and Tristan Young each scored 16 points. Young scored 12 of his points in the second quarter as the Jets expanded a 3-point first-quarter lead into a 12-point lead (37-25) at halftime.

Jaden Diaz added 15 points.

In all, 10 Jets scored in the contest.

UP NEXT

The Jets meet Woodward (2-1) in the consolation final Saturday (Dec. 13) at 1:20 p.m.

On Friday, the Boomers beat host Chickasha, 49-37.
