
TUTTLE — Tuttle junior Hunter Watson pitched a five-inning one-hitter against Bethany in an 8-0 win Monday (April 14).
Watson struck out nine batters and walked one.
Broncho senior Joe Berry had his team’s only hit, a leadoff single to right field in the second inning. Berry also walked on four pitches in the fourth inning. However, he was caught stealing second base to end the inning.
Senior Layton Reither allowed six hits in 4 1 /3 innings. Of the eight runs he allowed, only four were earned due to three Bethany errors. Reither walked four and struck out four batters.
