OKLAHOMA CITY — Ponca City rode a strong first half en route to a 52-12 win of Putnam City West Tuesday (Jan. 28) in a 6A-3 matchup.

After taking an 18-6 lead after the first quarter, Ponca City shut out West in the second quarter, 8-0, to lead 26-6 by halftime.

Junior Kimiya Bullard and freshman Alazia Gutierrez each had four points in the loss.

UP NEXT

West travels to Tulsa Union (11-7, 5-3) Friday (Jan. 31) at 6 p.m.

Union beat Westmoore in overtime, 54-49, Tuesday.
