
NORMAN – Putnam City North dropped its first 6A-2 contest Tuesday (Dec. 17) in a 59-50 loss to Norman.
Senior Khai Brown led the Panthers (6-4, 2-1) with 13 points. Junior Nate Muriithi added eight points (six of which were in the second half).
The Tigers (4-2, 3-0) extended a two-possession game with a rally in the fourth quarter.
Norman junior Beau Billingsley scored a game-high 15 points, hitting 7-of-8 from the free throw line in the fourth quarter.

Putnam City North hosts one of the two undefeated teams in 6A-2 play in Choctaw (4-1, 3-0) Friday (Dec. 20) at 7:30 p.m.
The Yellowjackets beat Lawton Eisenhower, 87-45, on Tuesday.
