
DUNCAN – Putnam City had five players score in double figures in a 92-51 rout of winless Capitol Hill Thursday (Dec. 12) in the Southern Oklahoma Invitational Tournament.
“Excited to be in the winners bracket and having a chance to contend for a tournament championship early in the season,” Putnam City coach Brandon Jackson said via text.
Senior Kelton Locke led the Pirates (4-1) with 14 points. Fellow senior JaColby Williams added 13 as did junior Chris Williams. Sophomores Gabe Osborne and Daylan Williamson each scored 12 points in the win.
In all, twelve Pirates scored in the win.
Capitol Hill junior Nehemiah Cole scored a game-high 20 points.

Putnam City meets Ada (3-0) in the SOI semifinals Friday (Dec. 13) at 8:30 p.m. The Cougars beat host Duncan, 51-41, Thursday.
