Putnam City North’s boys basketball team begins the season Friday (Nov. 22) in Frisco, Texas at The Match-Up at Prosper Rock Hill.

North meets Dynamic Prep (Texas) at 7:30 p.m. On Saturday, the Panthers take on Lewisville (Texas) at 5:30 p.m.

“We will be a very deep and talented team that’ll be exciting and fun to watch and gets after it on both ends,” new Panther coach DJ Lemons said.

The Panthers finished 12-17 last season, falling in the area playoffs to sister school, Putnam City West.

Lemons was hired in April to replace Mike Jeffries.
