OWASSO – Putnam City’s softball opener was rescheduled for a second time after lightning in the area kept the Lady Pirates from playing on the road in Owasso Thursday (Aug. 15).

In a social media post, the team said they will meet Owasso on Sept. 4.

This comes after the Lady Pirates were slated to open the season at home against Deer Creek Tuesday (Aug. 13). That game was moved to Aug, 26.

UP NEXT: Putnam City will travel to Shawnee Tuesday (Aug. 20). First pitch is at 6:30 p.m.
