BETHANY – The Bronchos rebounded from their first loss of the season by pounding Clinton, 59-11, Thursday (Jan. 11) in a Western Conference game.

Clinton scored first on a 3-pointer by junior Ronnie Redshin, but then the Red Tornadoes (3-9) wouldn’t score again in the quarter.

Bethany (11-1) led, 25-5, at halftime behind junior Jackson Payne, who finished the game with 18 points and seven rebounds.

Most of the Bethany starters sat out the second half. In the fourth quarter, senior guard Findlay Neal put on an outside shooting clinic, hitting four treys to finish with 12 points.

UP NEXT: Bethany continues conference play, traveling to Newcastle Tuesday (Jan. 16). Tip-off is at 8 p.m.
