NOBLE — Western Heights’ bat were largely silent Monday (Aug. 17) in a 11-1 loss to Noble in a 5A-1 contest.
While the Bears racked up 11 hits, the Jets had just a pair of hits. Three Western Heights errors helped the Bears score in each inning.
The Jets scored a run in the first inning. Freshman Scarlet Jones walked with one out. She moved to third base on a single from junior Aubrey Kerchee. Jones later scored on an error for an early 1-0 lead.
