SAPULPA — Sapulpa scored 13 runs in the second inning en route to a 16-0 shutout of Putnam City Monday (April 27) in 6A-3 action.
The Chieftains unloaded for 10 hits and four walks in the inning.
The Pirates were held to three hits in the loss. Juniors Bryson Vanover, Jared Potter and senior Henry Thein each had a hit. Vanover and Thein had doubles.
