Sulphur picked up two wins over Bethany Monday and Tuesday (April 13-14) in a 4A-3 series.
MONDAY: SULPHUR 6, BETHANY 1
SULPHUR — Bethany had baserunners throughout the 6-1 loss in the series opener.
The Bronchos got a run across in the seventh inning. Freshman Jayden Rose singled and scored on a double from junior Ozzie Brown.
Rose went 2-for-3. Junior Brody McLaren, sophomore Cooper Suarez and junior Damyen Aguilar each had a hit.

BETHANY — The Broncho bats struggled in a shutout loss.
Rose and Aguilar each had hits. McLaren, sophomore Cruz Burleson and Aguilar each walked for Bethany.
The Bulldogs broke open a 1-0 game with five runs in the third inning and seven runs in the fifth.
