
YUKON — Putnam City broke up a tight game with a strong second half in a 43-27 win over Yukon Friday (Feb. 14) in a 6A-1 matchup.
The Lady Pirates held a 24-21 lead at halftime before outscoring Yukon 19-6 in the second half.
Putnam City seniors Kayla Hill and Paishintz Booker each scored 10 points in the win. Booker scored seven of her points in the first and Booker scored six points of her total in the second half.
Senior Tionna Johnson added eight points in the win.

Putnam City (7-11, 6-7 in District 6A-1 play) is scheduled to face Edmond Memorial (19-3, 12-1) Monday (Feb. 17) at home at 6 p.m. The game was moved up from Feb. 18 due to a possibility of a winter weather storm.
The Lady Bulldogs beat U.S. Grant, 89-23, Friday. UPDATE: Edmond Memorial beat Edmond Santa Fe, 79-43, Saturday.
