DEL CITY – Western Heights sprinted out to a big lead against Destiny Christian en route to a 64-49 win in the Del City Holiday Festival Friday (Dec. 27).
The Jets held the Wildcats to single-digits in both the first and second quarter, building a 34-17 lead by halftime.
Junior Greg Green scored a game-high 19 points in the win. Green hit five 3-pointers, including three in the fourth quarter.
Fellow junior Timothy O’Neal added 14 points.

The Jets (4-4) play Holdenville (7-2) Saturday (Dec. 28) at 12:30 p.m. on the final day of the festival. The 3A 11th-ranked Wolverines lost to fourth-ranked Anadarko, 61-51, Friday.
