OKLAHOMA CITY – Putnam City West managed one baserunner in two no-hitters by Mustang Tuesday (Sept. 3) in 6A-4 play.
GAME 1: MUSTANG 15, PUTNAM CITY WEST 0
Mustang senior Amelia Mason threw a perfect game, not allowing a baserunner in the shortened three-inning game. Mason struck out eight Lady Patriots in the win.
Mustang scored five runs in each inning and took advantage of three West errors.
GAME 2: MUSTANG 10, PUTNAM CITY WEST 0
West was no-hit in the second game of the doublehead but got a runner on base when Analicia Ramirez walked with one out in the first inning.
Mustang senior Aubree Hall struck out eight batters for the win.
The Lady Broncos had seven hits and took advantage of three West errors.
UP NEXT
On Wednesday (Sept. 4), the Lady Patriots (1-11) are scheduled to finish their suspended game with Bixby on Aug. 15. West trails Bixby, 5-0 , in the first inning.
