West Metro runners compete at Carl Albert

MIDWEST CITY – Several West Metro runners ran in the Titan Invitational hosted by Carl Albert Friday (Aug. 30)

Putnam City North junior Phoenix McClain competed individually in the Elite Division of the event, finishing 23rd with a time of 17:50.90

In the Class 5A and 6A boys division, Western Heights finished sixth, followed by Putnam City West in eighth place and Putnam City in tenth.

Putnam City junior Sebastian De Loera cracked the top 20 individually, finishing 18th with a time of 18:50.40.

In the Class 5A and 6A girls division, Putnam City finished tenth.

The Lady Pirates were paced by freshman Natalie Ross, who finished 50th with a time of 25:24.85.
