BARTLESVILLE – Putnam City took control of a tie game early in the fourth quarter, beating Bartlesville, 31-18, Tuesday (Jan. 30) in a Class 6A District 3 matchup.
Tied at 16-16 with 7:00 left in the fourth quarter, the Pirates (8-11) went on a 15-2 run for the win.
Pirate senior Warren Du scored a game-high 10 points in the win.
UP NEXT: The Pirates return home to meet Sand Springs in another district contest. Tip-off is at 8 p.m.

BETHANY – The Class 4A seventh-ranked Bronchos rebounded with a win over the Bulldogs in a Western Conference matchup.
Junnior Lukas Wooldridge scored 17 points and fellow junior Wyatt Geissler added 13 points in the win.
