The 5A Racers scored 15 runs in the second inning for the run-rule win.
Senior Kayla Orton had an RBI-single in the first inning to give the Panthers an early lead. That followed a leadoff double from junior Kayleigh Andrews (who was later thrown out at home) and a single from senior Presley Standridge (who scored on Orton’s single).
Those were the only North hits in the loss.
