
OKLAHOMA CITY — Mustang had two rallies and runs were hard to come by for Putnam City West in a 9-1 Bronco win Monday (April 27) in a 6A-1 matchup.
Mustang scored four runs in the second and fourth innings of the win.
The Patriots got on the scoreboard in the sixth inning. Sophomore Cadence Smith led off the inning with a triple to center field. Senior Ezequiel Hernandez grounded out to score Smith.
Smith had a 2-for-2 day. Freshman Tylor Mason went 2-for-3. Senior Aaron De Loera added a 1-for-4 performance with a double.

Putnam City West (10-14, 2-9) travels to Mustang tomorrow at 5 p.m. to complete the 6A-1 series.
