
PONCA CITY — Putnam City North had baserunners in every inning but the Panthers were shut out in a 5-0 loss to Ponca City Friday (April 24) at the Ponca City Festival).
The Wildcats racked up 13 hits in the win. Ponca City senior Lance Arbona held the Panthers to four hits in the complete-game shutout.
Seniors Xayvion Jones, Reece Hubble, JaQuari Dansby and Robert Marcy each had a hit. North walked four times and struck out eight times.
Senior Austin Guerrero took the loss. He allowed nine hits and four runs (three earned). He walked two batters and struck out four. Hubble tossed two innings. He allowed four hits and a run. Hubble struck out two batters.

North (3-25) opens a two-game 6A-4 series by hosting Bartlesville (16-16, 5-7) Monday (April 27) at 4:30 p.m.
The Bruins earned an 11-3 win over 5A Coweta on Friday.
