
BETHANY — Bethany baseball coach Robert Lee earned his 200th win after the Bronchos routed McLoud 10-0 Monday (March 30) in a 4A-3 action.
Junior Cooper Willis pitched all six innings of the run-rule shutout. Willis allowed just two hits and struck out 10 batters.
Junior Brody McLaren went 2-for-3 with a double and two stolen bases and fellow junior Connor Sydnes was 2-for-2 with a stolen base.
Willis was 1-for-2 at the plate with a first inning double that drove in Bethany’s first run. Willis also stole a base. Juniors Cooper Suarez, Damyen Aguilar and freshman Maximus Loyd each had a hit.
Broncho batters walked four times and Bethany took advantage of five McLoud errors.

Bethany (8-4, 5-0) completes the 4A-3 series Tuesday (March 31) at McLoud (2-13, 0-7).
