
STILLWATER — Putnam City North won its 12th game in a row with a 56-43 victory over Stillwater Saturday (Jan. 31).
The win also pushed the Panthers to 10-0 in 6A-3 play.
Senior Da’Nae Jefferson led North with 17 points. Jefferson sank four 3-pointers and scored 10 of her point total in the first quarter. She had five rebounds, three assists and two steals.
Fellow senior Paige Williams scored 11 points. She also had five rebounds and three steals.
As a team, the Panthers shot 48.7 percent from the field.
Senior sharpshooter Kiana Gray scored eight points, including two treys in the first quarter. Gray also had two rebounds and two steals.
Senior Jayla Constant had seven points, four rebounds, two assists and and three steals.
Junior Richiya Miller added six points and senior Tehlia Kutsoati scored five points.
Stillwater senior Khalia Moore scored a game-high 23 points. Moore poured in 12 points in the fourth quarter to shrink the Pioneers’ deficit.

The Panthers (19-1, 10-0) Panthers have a homecoming matchup Tuesday (Feb. 3) with Muskogee (16-4, 8-2) that looms large.
The Roughers beat Stillwater, 44-35, on Friday.
Muskogee took the Panthers to double overtime on Jan. 3 before North won the road game on a late 3-pointer from Gray.
