PURCELL — Bethany cruised to a 63-19 win over 3A Dickson Wednesday (Jan. 21) in the opener of the Heart of Oklahoma Basketball Tournament.

The Bronchos had three players score in double-figures. Bethany held the Comets to single-digit point totals in the first three quarters. They also held Dickson scoreless in the fourth.

Junior Camryn Regier scored a game-high 19 points. Regier was 9-of-14 from the field. She had four assists, five rebounds and seven steals.

Sophomore Kamryn Donley added 13 points. Junior Ali Linn followed with 12 points. Linn was 4-of-9 from the field. She had six rebounds and a steal.

Freshman Londyn Jaggers scored seven points. Jagger hit 3 of 5 shots. Jaggers had two assists and four steals.

Senior Reese Harris scored five points on 2-of-4 shooting. Harris had two steals and an assist.

Bethany shot 42 percent from the field. The Bronchos collected 27 steals.

The Comets shot 29 percent from the field and did not have an offensive rebound. The Comets had 35 turnovers in the loss.

UP NEXT

Bethany (13-2) faces 6A Enid (9-6) Thursday (Jan. 22) at 4 p.m. as the tournament continues.

The Pacers beat the OKC Knights 67-47 on Wednesday.
