
OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City North flirted with 100 points Friday (Jan. 16) in a 98-27 win over Capitol Hill in 6A-3 action.
The Panthers had five players score in double figures and 12 players scored in the win.
Junior Mekhi Thomas scored 15 points with four 3-pointers. Thomas also had two assists and two steals. Sophomore CJ Heskett added 14 points with four treys. Heskett had four rebounds, two assists and two steals.
Junior Miles Jackson had 12 points, five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Sophomore Devion Gillispie added 11 points, a rebound and two assists.
Sophomore Keaton Murry had 10 points, a rebound, four assists and two steals.
“Just proud of my guys for competing all four quarters and not focus on who we played, but how we play…that was message to the players all week against Jenks and Capitol Hill,” Putnam City North coach DJ Lemons said via text. “I thought tonight’s game was a good indicator of just sharing the ball offensively and seeing how we can translate good looks for each other.”

North (15-1, 7-0) hosts Edmond Santa Fe (12-2, 5-2) Tuesday (Jan. 20) at 7:30 p.m. in another 6A-3 game.
