ARDMORE — Bethany’s boys golf team finished ninth at the Class 4A Boys State Championship Monday and Tuesday (May 12-13) at Dornick Hills Golf and Country Club.

The Bronchos combined to 983 (143 over par) for the two-day event, just two strokes behind eighth-place Inola.

Individually, senior Wyatt Geissler paced the team by shooting a 241 (+31) to finish 30th.

Fellow senior Landon Hess followed in 39th place (247/+37). Others included senior Jackie Payne (Tie for 42nd place/248/+38), senior Garrett Johnson (44th place/249/+39) and senior Will Walstad (57th place/260/+50).
