
MOORE — Putnam City struggled at the plate and Southmoore got just enough offense for a 4-0 win Friday (May 2) in a 6A non-district contest.
The Pirates (3-29) had two hits in the loss. Senior Connor Fast and sophomore Jared Potter each had a single. PC batters walked three times and were hit by pitches four times.
The SaberCats (18-16) got single runs in every inning starting with the third inning.

Putnam City hosts 2A Frederick Saturday (May 3) at 1 p.m.
Pirate coach Joseph Wood coached the Bombers for two years before coming to PC.
This year, Frederick is 8-8. The Bombers last played April 24 and lost to Walters, 14-3.
