
CHICKASHA — Putnam City North junior Toni Ibarra won the 800-meter finals at the Chickasha Invitational Tuesday (April 15).
Ibarra won the even with a time of 2:27.16. Her time was over two seconds faster than Washington junior Kelby Beller, who finished at 2:29.30.
Fellow junior Maddison Keeton finished third in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of :17.20. Keeton also tied for fourth in the high jump with a mark of 4-10.
Junior Lottee Leonhardt finished fourth in the long jump with a mark of 16-3.
For the boys, junior Phoenix McClain notched a third place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:06.83, just behind Blanchard junior Myles Gunter at 2:06.44.
Freshman Bryan Randolph landed in fourth place in the 200-meter dash with a time of :22.98, just shy of Newcastle sophomore Alec Shumard at :22.74.
