BETHANY — Bethany routed Community Christian, 10-1, Tuesday (April 15) in a 4-1 contest.

“I think our girls are in a good groove,” Bethany coach Sean Williams said via text. He noted that some players missed the early part of the season due to the girls basketball team’s state tournament run.

The team also has three players competing in the Elite Clubs National League, playing for the Oklahoma Energy. The league is “the highest tier for girls competitive soccer,” Williams added. Matches and showcases caused conflicts with the high school season.

“We never were at full strength until district play started, so you can really see the chemistry improving,” Williams said. “It helps to have a lot of talent that can also share the ball, share the goals, and score in multiple different ways.”

Sophomore Camryn Regier scored five goals. The Lady Bronchos got single goals from freshmen Jozzy Hernandez, Jocelyn Balderas, Kamryn Donley, senior Kayten Donley and sophomore Isabella Matthew.
