
WARR ACRES — Mustang scored 15 runs over the final two innings en route to a 16-0 win over Putnam City Thursday (April 10) on the first day of the Northwest Optimist Tournament.
The Broncos (13-8) led 1-0 before the outburst in the final two innings of the run-rule win.
Mustang collected 11 hits and took advantage of six Pirate errors.
Pirate seniors Connor Fast, Lukas Poindexter and junior Brandon Bennett each had a hit in the loss.
Fast took the loss, giving up all 16 runs in four innings. However, only one of the runs was earned due to the Putnam City errors.

Putnam City (2-18) meets Southmoore (10-11) Friday (April 11) at 11 a.m. at Pirate Field.
The Sabercats fell to Norman North, 9-8 in 11 innings, Thursday.
