
NOBLE – Western Heights managed just two hits in a 10-0 run-rule loss to Noble Monday (March 3) to open the new season and 5A-1 play.
The Bears broke a scoreless tie with six runs in the third inning with two doubles and four Jet errors.
Senior Caden Wiebusch and junior Parker Kronk each had a hit in the loss.
Wiebusch pitched three innings, allowing three hits, two earned runs, two walks and striking out two. Kronk pitched the remainder of the game. He allowed five hits, four runs, a walk and a strikeout.
UP NEXT
The two teams will head back to southwest Oklahoma City Tuesday (March 4) to finish the district series. First pitch is at 5 p.m.
