
OKLAHOMA CITY — Putnam City North cruised to an 89-23 rout of U.S. Grant Thursday (Feb. 27) in a Class 6A West Regional 3 playoff contest.
With the win, North (24-1) ran its winning streak to 16 games.
“It was a good team win,” Putnam City North coach Logan Martin said via text. “Everyone contributed and it was good momentum going into Saturday’s game!”
The Lady Panthers had four players score in double figures in the win. Seniors Brandie Harrod and Nykaiya Dillard each scored a game-high 14 points. Fellow senior Nini Geretta added 13 points.
Junior Kiana Gray followed with 12 points.
North had 12 players score in the win and the Lady Panthers’ defense held Grant (9-15) to single digits in each quarter.

Putnam City North hosts its neighbor to the north, Deer Creek, in the regional final Saturday (March 1) at 3:30 p.m.
The Lady Antlers (13-9) got past Moore, 57-55, Thursday.
