

FRONTENAC, Kan. — Putnam City won the Four State Raider Classic at Frontenac (Kan.) Saturday (Jan. 25) with a 58-46 win over Webb City (Mo.).
The Pirates opened up a double-digit lead in the first half over the Joplin area school, leading 30-18 at halftime.
Putnam City senior JaColby Williams had 18 points with four 3-pointers. Fellow senior Kelton Locke added 14 points and sophomore Miles Jackson finished with 10 points, including six points in the fourth quarter.
Webb City senior Eli Pace scored a game-high 20 points in the loss.

Putnam City (12-4, 5-3 in district play) gets a small break before hosting Norman North (10-4, 6-1) in a 6A-1 contest next Friday (Jan. 31) at 7:30 p.m.
The Timberwolves will travel to Southmoore Tuesday before playing the Pirates.
