STILLWATER – Putnam City North finished third in both the boys and girls divisions of the Stillwater swim meet last Thursday (Dec. 12).

“The positive outlook to this meet was supporting teammates in their success and entering new events that challenged swimmers abilities,” North girls coach Brett Nichelson said via email. “We believe those two building blocks will be the foundation which prepares the Panthers for the start of the 2025.”

The boys team scored 280 points, besting Bishop McGuinness, Crossings Christian, Moore, Southmoore and Westmoore. The team was behind host Stillwater and Bishop Kelley.

Six boys swimmers had top-five finishes. Ten swimmers had top-10 finishes and ten swimmer contributed points.

The girls team had 237 points, beating Bishop McGuinness, Crossings Christian, Moore, Southmoore and Westmoore, just behind Stillwater and Bishop Kelley. The girls teams finished 16 points behind Kelley in dual scoring.

Four girls swimmers finished had top five finishes. Ten swimmers had top-10 finishes and eleven swimmer contributed points.

UP NEXT

North will compete in the Putnam City Schools Invite Jan. 7 at the Mitch Park YMCA in Edmond at 10 a.m.
