
PONCA CITY – Putnam City North had several top three finishers swimming at the Ponca City Rec Plex Tuesday (Dec. 3).
In all, six North swimmers finished first in the individual events.
Xander Applegate finished first in the 200-meter freestyle and 100-meter butterfly.
Colin Turbayne added a first place finish in the 100-meter freestyle and a second place finish in the 50-meter freestyle.
Brodrick Omohundro ended up third place in the 100-meter butterfly.
Brody Cunningham won the 200-meter individual medley and the 500-meter freestyle.
Noah Goggs added a third place finish in the 100-meter freestyle.
Luke Engelmann won the 100-meter backstroke and finished second in the 200-meter freestyle.
For the Lady Panthers, Scarlet Mathis took second place in both the 100-meter butterfly and the 500-meter butterfly.
Madison Keeton finished second in the 100-meter breaststroke.
The Panthers had three top finishes in the relay events.
North won the 200-meter freestyle relay with swimmers Luke Engelmann, Xander Applegate, Colin Turbayne and Brody Cunningham.
They also won the 400-meter freestyle with Tubrbayne, Applegate, Cunningham and Engelmann.
The Lady Panthers won the 200-meter medley relay. Swimmers included Alicia Romero, Maddison Keeton, Scarlet Mathis and Aaliyah Wilkin.
North finished fourth in the girls 200-meter freestyle relay with Wilkin, Keeton, Mathis and Isabelle Nguyen.
