OKLAHOMA CITY – Mount Saint Mary scored early and often in a 13-1 three-inning run-rule of Putnam City West Thursday (Sept. 26).
West’s only lead came in the top of the first inning when Kaydence Lopez doubled with one out. Lopez stole third base and home for a 1-0 Lady Patriot lead. With two outs in the inning, Rosaura Rojas-Delgado singled but West couldn’t plate another run.
The Lady Rockets scored five in the bottom of the inning with two walks, two West errors and two hits and the rout was on.
Analicia Ramirez had a walk and a stolen base in the loss.
Lopez allowed seven hits and six walks.

The Lady Patriots (2-17) meet U.S Grant (20-3) at 10 a.m. and Douglass (16-6) at 3 p.m. in the Queens of the South Tournament at Grant.
