
OKLAHOMA CITY- Bethany started fast and shut out Mount Saint Mary, 12-0, Tuesday (Sept. 10) in a 4A-1 matchup.
The Lady Bronchos scored seven runs in the first inning, five of which came with two outs, and the rout was on.
Sophomore Emma Geissler went 3-for-3 with a double and three runs batted in. Senior Ireland Riley finished 2-for-2 with a double and a stolen base. In all, six players got a hit. Bethany got doubles from junior Alyssa Daniels, sophomore Jules Barger and junior Madison Bibbs.
The Lady Bronchos also took advantage of nine walks in the win.
Junior Paige Sechrist allowed four hits in three innings. Sechrist walked one and struck out two batters.

Bethany (11-12, 5-3) has a key 4A-1 matchup at home against Kingfisher (17-4, 4-3) Thursday (Sept. 12). The Lady Bronchos are one game ahead of the Lady Jackets, good for third place in the standings. First pitch is at 5 p.m.
