BETHANY – The Lady Broncho offense exploded for a 19-0 rout over Classen S.A.S Saturday (Sept. 7) on the final day of the Bethany Softball Tournament.
Bethany scored 10 runs in the first inning on three walks, four singles, two doubles and two Classen errors.
Junior Alyssa Daniels went 3-for-3 with a double, three runs scored and two runs batted in.
“Good for Alyssa to get some good at-bats,” Bethany coach Booker Blakley said via text. “We need her to have that confidence going forward to help us as we continue through district play.”
Fellow junior Berkley Johnson added a 2-for-2 day with three RBIs. Sophomore Jules Barger, juniors Madison Bibbs and Paige Sechrist each drove in three runs in the win.
Lost in the big offensive day was a three-inning no-hitter from Jayda Davis. The junior allowed only one baserunner when she hit Adrienne Hill in the second inning. Davis struck out four batters in the win.
