WARR ACRES – Putnam City sophomore Maece Bourbonnais had four hits but a late-inning rally by Edmond North beat the Lady Pirates, 10-4, Thursday (Aug. 29).

Trailing 1-0 in the first inning, the Lady Pirates answered with two runs. Bourbonnais singled to left field, scoring sophomore Samantha Tidmore (who was hit by a pitch). Fellow sophomore Tessa Goodner also scored on an error.

In the fourth inning, Edmond North took the lead on two singles and a PC error.

The Lady Huskies broke the game open the fifth with three runs, again taking advantage of an error.

In the bottom half of the inning, Bourbonnais doubled to left field. Tidmore (who had been hit by another pitch) scored on an error.

Edmond North scored four runs in the sixth to put the game out of reach with three hits, a walk and an error.

Bourbonnais drove in the final run of the game in the seventh inning, scoring Tidmore on a single.

Bourbonnais went 4-for-4 with a double, triple and two runs batted in. Goodner added a 2-for-4 day with a run scored. Sophomores Madi Gossman, Tidmore and Alexandra Hatlelid each added hits.
