BETHANY – The Lady Broncho volleyball team returned to state last season and they’d like to make a another return trip after finishing as the Class 4A runner-up.

Bethany (33-8) fell in four sets to power Community Christian who won its third championship in four seasons and its first in 4A.

To get back to the title game, longtime Bethany volleyball coach Kerri will have some experience.

Senior outside hitter Jaidyn Reid returns. Reid earned honorable mention All-City honors from The Oklahoman. Also returning is junior outside hitter Skylar Brady. Brady was named second-team All-City.

Junior setters Maya McPhaul and Chloe Evans also return as well as junior defensive specialist Callie Gullikers.

Sophomore libero Gracee Geissler also brings experience to the team.

Cagle describes her team as a “strong, motivated group looking forward to a great season and a run at the state tournament.”

“These girls are so fun to coach!” she added.

The Lady Bronchos open the season Tuesday (August 13) at 6 p.m. on the road at Weatherford.
