OKLAHOMA CITY – Putnam City North rode a seven-run first inning to a 9-6 win over Ponca City Friday (March 15).
In the first, the Panthers collected five hits (all singles) and walked four times. Three of the walks came on a 3-2 count.
Nine players recorded a hit for North, now 2-6. Junior Garcia, a junior, went 2-for-4. Fellow junior Geoffry Scmid went 2-for-3 as did another junior, Jessie Aaron.
