The Yellowjackets used two big innings to send West to the losers bracket.
Sophomore Jace Baker tossed a five-inning no-hitter against the Patriots. West had four walks in the loss.
Junior Aaron De Loera, sophomore Cadence Smith, senior Kasen Jones and freshman LaCurtis Taylor each had a walk. Junior Daniel Hoyt was hit by a pitch.
Despite the offensive performance, West had baserunners in all but one inning.

West scored five runs in the sixth inning for a run-rule win.
Junior Aaron De Loera went 2-for-4 and sophomore Malachi Ferguson was 2-for-3 in the win. Ferguson had a triple.
Junior Daniel Hoyt, freshmen Tylor Mason and Riley Axtell each had a hit. Hoyt had a double and drove in four runs. Hoyt walked with the bases loaded in the sixth inning to drive in the final run and end the game.
Mason added a run batted in.
Axtell allowed two hits over six scoreless innings. He walked one and struck out five.
