ARDMORE — Bethany senior golfer Drew Jacobson finished 15th and was named to All-State at the 4A state tournament Tuesday (May 5) at Dornick Hills in Ardmore.

“Really proud of her for battling for 36 holes,” Bethany coach Booker Blakley said via text. “Dornick Hills is very demanding and gives you no opportunities to relax.”

On day one of the competition on Monday, the Redlands signee shot a 94 and followed that with an 89 on Tuesday for a two-day total of 183. That score put her in a tie with Hilldale senior Abigail Bennett.

“Her last nine holes on day two were really solid and gave herself a chance to reach some of our goals.”

Blakley said Jacobson’s season was “worthy of an All-State selection.”

“So proud to know she was able to accomplish that.”
