
SAND SPRINGS — Putnam City North struggled at the plate in a 11-1 loss to Sand Springs Wednesday (April 22) in a 6A-4 contest.
North scored first, taking advantage of Sandite miscues. Senior Xayvion Jones was hit by a pitch to lead off the game. Senior Owen Attebery bunted and reached on an error. Jones scored on the error.
Jones later singled in the third inning for the Panthers’ lone hit and the only other baserunner.
Attebery and Jones each had a stolen base.

North (3-23, 0-12) travels to Ponca City Thursday (April 23) for the Ponca City Festival.
