OKLAHOMA CITY — Western Heights’ Jalesa Asimba and Makayla Brown each had inside-the-park home runs as the Jets routed Santa Fe South 13-1 Tuesday (April 22).

Asimba made a round trip around the bases in the third inning for a two-run homer. Brown finished the game with a two-run homer in the fourth for a run-rule win.

The Jets collected 12 hits in the win.

Aracena Martin was 3-for-3 with two runs batted in. Asimba, Brown and Paola Rubi Ortiz each went 2-for-2. Brown drove in four runs.

Abbie Bise and Abby Castillo each had a hit. Castillo’s hit was a double.

Ann-Marie Bohnstedt tossed four innings of hitless ball with an unearned run. Bohnstedt walked three batters and struck out four.
