MINCO — Western Heights opened the slow-pitch softball season with a pair of losses to Dibble and Minco Monday (March 2).
DIBBLE 11, WESTERN HEIGHTS 10
The Jets led early in this slugfest, but the Demons scored four runs in the fifth inning and three more in the sixth to edge Western Heights.
M Brown went 3-for-4 and J Richard was 3-of-5 in the loss.
Abbie Bise, Ann-Marie Bohnstedt and Jalesa Asimba doubled. Julissa Richards, Khamiyah Laster and Makayla Brown added triples.

The Jet bats were hot the host Bulldogs pulled out the win.
The game marked the return of the Bulldogs, nearly six month after the team was involved in a bus accident during the fall season.
Minco scored in every inning in the 6-inning contest.
Bise, Brown, Raelynn Frost and Richards each had two and Western Heights had 12 hits as a team. Bise had a double
